UGIG LLC. DOING BUSINESS AS CAMPAID
Cookie Policy
Last Updated: August 13, 2026 · Applies to campaid.net and all Campaid services
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your session, preferences, and activity. Campaid uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, tracking pixels) to operate core platform features, process payments securely, and measure aggregate usage.
2. Cookies We Use
The following cookies and similar tracking technologies may be set when you visit campaid.net:
Essential cookies (required for the platform to function):
- sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token (Supabase Auth) — Session authentication. Set on login; expires with your session; the short-lived access token refreshes automatically and the refresh token expires per our current session configuration. Disabling this cookie prevents login.
- __stripe_mid / __stripe_sid (Stripe) — Payment fraud prevention and session continuity for Stripe checkout. Set by Stripe when a payment page is loaded. Disabling this cookie prevents payment processing.
Analytics cookies (product analytics, tied to a pseudonymous account identifier):
- ph_* (PostHog) — Product analytics and masked session replay. Stores a pseudonymous identifier tied to your account (user ID, role, and school) — never your email or the content you type. Session replay masks all typed input; we do not capture what you type. Set only after you accept analytics cookies. Expires after 1 year.
Functional cookies:
- Google Maps API (location services on task and listing pages) — Session-based. Used to render maps and process location inputs.
Monitoring (debugging only — not advertising):
- Sentry session replay — May capture a redacted browser-session recording to assist with debugging. Not used for advertising. Retained only for the duration of the active Sentry issue. No persistent cookie set; data transmitted via Sentry SDK.
3. Cookies We Do NOT Set
Campaid does not set advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. We do not share cookie data with advertising networks. Campaid does not use any cookie-consent management platform that sets its own tracking cookies.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Cookie banner: the first time you visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject non-essential (analytics) cookies. Analytics stays off until you accept. You can change your choice anytime via the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer.
- Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. See your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that disabling essential cookies (Supabase Auth, Stripe) will prevent core platform functionality including login and payment.
- Opt-out tools: Analytics cookies (PostHog) are only set after you grant consent in our cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent there at any time. Stripe — stripe.com/privacy.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be notified via the platform or by email. Please revisit this policy periodically.
